Our Chapter Region—and Beyond The Golden Gate Chapter primarily serves fruit growers and enthusiasts in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Solano Counties. From foggy coastal neighborhoods to warm inland gardens, our region supports an incredible diversity of fruit-growing experiences. But geography does not limit our community. We welcome members from outside our chapter region, including growers from other states such as Colorado and New York, who participate to learn, exchange ideas, and stay connected to our rare fruit community.
